Liza A. Harridyal
Liza Harridyal is the Principal of Harridyal-Sodha & Associates, and brings with her over thirteen (13) years of legal experience.
Graduating with LL.B honors from the University of Manchester, England, Liza then went on to article in London. Thereafter, she completed her professional training in Jamaica and qualified as a Caricom lawyer and was called to the Bar in Barbados. In 2001, she earned a Masters Degree, in the Law of International Trade & Finance from the University of Wolverhampton and London.
Liza’s practical legal experience began while working for a private, Barbados based International Bank as in-house Counsel and Trust Officer. She was primarily responsible for wealth management and taxation planning, drafting of trust deeds, setting up international companies to hold trust assets, liaising with other jurisdictions to set up trusts, and generally advising with respect to the law of trusts in Barbados. Within this position, she quickly gained recognition within the local business community and as a result accepted a progressive position with one of the leading law firms in Barbados.
Liza is the chair of Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) and also serves on the Board of the Barbados International Business Association (BIBA).
At Harridyal-Sodha & Associates, Liza is involved in Company and Commercial matters, Environmental Law, Tax Planning, Conveyance, Trademarks & Patents, Employment Law and the Law of Trusts.
Keisha N. Hyde
Keisha Hyde is a senior lawyer at Harridyal-Sodha & Associates. Keisha graduated from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, having obtained her degree in Bachelor of Laws. She then pursued her Certificate of Legal Education at the Norman Manley Law School in Jamaica. In addition to holding an LLB (Hons), Keisha is an executive member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) and also serves on the Board and Executive Committee of the Barbados International Business Association (BIBA).
Keisha brings a wealth of experience in a number of legal areas including Corporate and Commercial Law, Real Property, Taxation, Trust and Estates, Insurance, Pensions, Shipping, Mergers and Acquisitions and Bankruptcy and Insolvency among others.
T. Kesha Boodhoo
Taijwatie Kesha Boodhoo graduated from the University of Guyana in 2005 and began her professional training at the Hugh Wooding Law School. Upon completion in 2007, Kesha joined Harridyal-Sodha & Associates to work primarily on Corporate and Commercial matters. Kesha is directly involved in Planning, Drafting of Contracts, providing Corporate Secretarial Services to various International Business Companies, Societies with Restricted Liabilities, Insurance Companies and Banks.
In addition to Corporate matters, Kesha practices in other legal areas such as Law of Succession, Employment Law and matters relating to Commercial Leases.
Ayo Barnard-Rawlins
Ayo Barnard-Rawlins is an Associate at Harridyal-Sodha & Associates. Ayo is a graduate from the University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom, where she obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree with Upper Second Class Honours. Ayo was called to the Bar of England and Wales having graduated from the Cardiff Law School and is a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn.
Thereafter, with a view to retuning to Barbados, Ayo pursued her Certificate of Legal Education at the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad and qualified as a Caricom Attorney and was called to the Bar in Barbados in July 2006.
In 2009, Ayo served as a Junior Committee Member on the Council of the Barbados Bar Association.
At Harridyal-Sodha & Associates Ayo is involved in Conveyancing, Mortgages, Corporate and Commercial, Trust and Estates.
Cadian Drummond
Cadian Drummond attended the University of West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, where she attained her Bachelor of Laws degree. She subsequently attended the Norman Manley Law School in Kingston, Jamaica. Cadian has been the recipient of several awards including the Hon. Mr. Justice Kenneth Smith O.J. Prize for Advocacy in 2009.
Cadian has been admitted to the Bar in Barbados and is a member of the Barbados Bar Association. Her areas of practice include corporate and commercial law, as well as conveyancing.
